INSTRUCTOR BIO
Mark Raimondi graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and is a state certified teacher.
His experience in both piano performance and teaching stretches over 30 years.
Mark began studying piano at the age of 3 and his dream to teach began when he was 8 years old, fostered by his own learning experiences with piano teacher, Paul Nazzaro.
His performing expertise extends beyond genres. From church settings and jazz bands, to event & tour venues during his years with his successful reggae band. He also has experience in writing church hymns, reggae music, and everything in between.
Mark has taught classes and conducted choirs at both the elementary and middle school levels and began his journey as a private piano teacher as a freshman in high school in the Nazzaro Music Studio.
Mark has truly explored limitless possibilities that piano mastery can provide.
In other areas of his life, Mark pulled from the discipline that began with piano and utilized that strength to lose over 200lbs and maintain a thriving life of fitness for over a decade.
His passion for encouragement and motivation continues to drive him beyond the musical world to the fitness world, where he is an active member of the DDPY community. There he strives to help others achieve their full potential in weight loss and fitness management.
Mark’s extensive experience teaching piano has opened up doors and opportunities to unify both passions in music and fitness to help others achieve their extraordinary goals.
Mark developed Raimondi Virtual Piano Studio in 2018 with the dream of reaching students all around the world. With careful planning and strategies, this studio has flourished in to a strong, encouraging community, which has been on of the biggest honors of his life.
Mark continues to innovate the virtual process each year, finding ways to create a truly authentic piano experience not only focusing on music education, but elements of self reflection, motivation, discipline, confidence, time management, precision, self worth, fulfillment in one's creativity, happiness, and most importantly, fun.
Mr. Raimondi treats teaching with the upmost respect, understanding that is not just a passion but a responsibility.
